I kept hearing horror stories about the lights at previous Glasvegas show, so I was ready to break my back trying to get a few good shots. Imagine my surprise when the lights were phenomenal! I’m used to dungeon conditions, so the wash of light across the whole stage was an eye-opening experience.
Though I had a pass and, for once, there was a barricade up at Webster Hall, I stayed in my front row spot through the show and got to photograph the full set for both Ida Maria and Glasvegas.

To even things out, the lights at the Late of the Pier/The Whip show last night made me cry. Mostly because the strobes were going off in my face and I couldn’t see. Review coming up tomorrow.
